Lakeshore Wellness and Recovery
Therapist: DawnMarie Suchorski, MS, LPC-IT, SAC-IT
Each new day provides us with the opportunity for a new beginning. Taking
the first steps toward change can be difficult, but you do not have to do
I have obtained a Master of Science Degree in Community Psychology, as well
as Trauma Certification through Alverno College.
I have three years of AODA experience including Intensive Outpatient Programs and Medication Assisted Treatment, working with many individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction. I have provided psychoeducation, as well as therapy to facilitate a change in behaviors by reframing of thoughts. Providing the tools to be used throughout the journey to wellness and recovery, I am here to support and guide you on your path to the life you want, and deserve, helping you to realize you are more than just your addiction.
If anxiety and depression have found a place in your life, I can work with you as you navigate through these obstacles, as well.
With a focus on veterans’ issues, I welcome those who have served, as well as their family members, who may be struggling to understand changes that may be occurring.
I look forward to meeting and working with you, as you begin your journey to a better, stronger self.
